We understand that fostering can be quite demanding at times and we want to make sure we are always there for our carers. We have staff on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year so that our carers are fully supported and we are there for them at all times.

We do everything we can for our foster carers and children. That’s why we offer:

  • Access to an on call worker 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year
  • Regularly scheduled, structured supervision from a qualified Social Worker
  • Support from your SSW at professionals meetings
  • Feeling and being treated as part of a professional team
  • Frequent telephone calls with your SSW
  • Direct access to the Senior Management Team
  • A regular programme of training delivered to meet carers’ needs
  • Regular support group meetings and a no clique culture
  • Being consulted on the function and operation of the Agency
  • Organised activities for children
  • Specialist skills training
  • Nationally accredited qualifications in Health & Social Care
  • Financial remuneration which recognises your skills and experiences
  • Assistance with enrolling children in local schools, registering with GPs etc.
